Micah
4.1-13
1 But in the last days it shall come to pass,
that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top
of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people
shall flow unto it.
2 And many nations shall come, and say, Come,
and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God
of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths:
for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from
Jerusalem.
3 And he shall judge among many people, and
rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into
plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a
sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
4 But they shall sit every man under his vine
and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of
the LORD of hosts hath spoken it.
5 For all people will walk every one in the
name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever
and ever.
6 In that day, saith the LORD, will I assemble
her that halteth, and I will gather her that is driven out, and her that I
have afflicted;
7 And I will make her that halted a remnant,
and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the LORD shall reign
over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever.
8 And thou, O tower of the flock, the strong
hold of the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come, even the first
dominion; the kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem.
9 Now why dost thou cry out aloud? is there no
king in thee? is thy counsellor perished? for pangs have taken thee as a
woman in travail.
10 Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O
daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: for now shalt thou go forth out
of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go even to
Babylon; there shalt thou be delivered; there the LORD shall redeem thee
from the hand of thine enemies.
11 Now also many nations are gathered against
thee, that say, Let her be defiled, and let our eye look upon Zion.
12 But they know not the thoughts of the LORD,
neither understand they his counsel: for he shall gather them as the
sheaves into the floor.
13 Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I
will make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt
beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto the
LORD, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth.
Hosea 2.14-16
14 Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and
bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfortably unto her.
15 And I will give her her vineyards from
thence, and the valley of Achor for a door of hope: and she shall sing
there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out
of the land of Egypt.
16 And it shall be at that day, saith the
LORD, that thou shalt call me Ishi; and shalt call me no more Baali.
Nahum 1.9
9 What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will
make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.
Habakkuk 2.13
13 Behold, is it not of the LORD of hosts that
the people shall labour in the very fire, and the people shall weary
themselves for very vanity?
Habakkuk 3.12-16
12 Thou didst march through the land in
indignation, thou didst thresh the heathen in anger.
13 Thou wentest forth for the salvation of thy
people, even for salvation with thine anointed; thou woundedst the head
out of the house of the wicked, by discovering the foundation unto the
neck. Selah.
14 Thou didst strike through with his staves
the head of his villages: they came out as a whirlwind to scatter me:
their rejoicing was as to devour the poor secretly.
15 Thou didst walk through the sea with thine
horses, through the heap of great waters.
16 When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips
quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in
myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when he cometh up unto
the people, he will invade them with his troops.
Ezekiel 28.13-19
13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God;
every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the
diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald,
and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy
pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth;
and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast
walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day
that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they
have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned:
therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I
will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of
fire.
17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy
beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will
cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may
behold thee.
18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the
multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore
will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee,
and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them
that behold thee.
19 All they that know thee among the people
shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou
be any more.
Ezekiel 38.8-23
8 After many days thou shalt be visited: in
the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from
the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of
Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the
nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.
9 Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm,
thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and
many people with thee.
10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come
to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou
shalt think an evil thought:
11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the
land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell
safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor
gates,
12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to
turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon
the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle
and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.
13 Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of
Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou
come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to
carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great
spoil?
14 Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say
unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel
dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it?
15 And thou shalt come from thy place out of
the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon
horses, a great company, and a mighty army:
16 And thou shalt come up against my people of
Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and
I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I
shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.
17 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of
whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel,
which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against
them?
18 And it shall come to pass at the same time
when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that
my fury shall come up in my face.
19 For in my jealousy and in the fire of my
wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in
the land of Israel;
20 So that the fishes of the sea, and the
fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things
that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the
earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down,
and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.
21 And I will call for a sword against him
throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man's sword shall
be against his brother.
22 And I will plead against him with
pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands,
and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great
hailstones, fire, and brimstone.
23 Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify
myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall
know that I am the LORD.
Zephaniah 1.1-18
1 The word of the LORD which came unto
Zephaniah the son of Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the
son of Hizkiah, in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah.
2 I will utterly consume all things from off
the land, saith the LORD.
3 I will consume man and beast; I will consume
the fowls of the heaven, and the fishes of the sea, and the stumbling
blocks with the wicked: and I will cut off man from off the land, saith
the LORD.
4 I will also stretch out mine hand upon
Judah, and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and I will cut off the
remnant of Baal from this place, and the name of the Chemarims with the
priests;
5 And them that worship the host of heaven
upon the housetops; and them that worship and that swear by the LORD, and
that swear by Malcham;
6 And them that are turned back from the LORD;
and those that have not sought the LORD, nor enquired for him.
7 Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord
GOD: for the day of the LORD is at hand: for the LORD hath prepared a
sacrifice, he hath bid his guests.
8 And it shall come to pass in the day of the
LORD's sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king's children,
and all such as are clothed with strange apparel.
9 In the same day also will I punish all those
that leap on the threshold, which fill their masters' houses with violence
and deceit.
10 And it shall come to pass in that day,
saith the LORD, that there shall be the noise of a cry from the fish gate,
and an howling from the second, and a great crashing from the hills.
11 Howl, ye inhabitants of Maktesh, for all
the merchant people are cut down; all they that bear silver are cut off.
12 And it shall come to pass at that time,
that I will search Jerusalem with candles, and punish the men that are
settled on their lees: that say in their heart, The LORD will not do good,
neither will he do evil.
13 Therefore their goods shall become a booty,
and their houses a desolation: they shall also build houses, but not
inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, but not drink the wine
thereof.
14 The great day of the LORD is near, it is
near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the
mighty man shall cry there bitterly.
15 That day is a day of wrath, a day of
trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness
and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness,
16 A day of the trumpet and alarm against the
fenced cities, and against the high towers.
17 And I will bring distress upon men, that
they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD:
and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung.
18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall
be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD's wrath; but the whole land
shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a
speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.
Zephaniah 3.8
8 Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD,
until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to
gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them
mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be
devoured with the fire of my jealousy.
Zephaniah 3.15
15 The LORD hath taken away thy judgments, he
hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even the LORD, is in the
midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more.
Malachi 4.1
1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn
as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be
stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of
hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
2 Peter 3.7-12
7 But the heavens and the earth, which are
now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the
day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one
thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand
years as one day.
9 The Lord is not slack concerning his
promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not
willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a
thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great
noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and
the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be
dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation
and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of
the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and
the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
Psalm 90.4
4 For a thousand years in thy sight are but as
yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
Luke 10.18-19
18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as
lightning fall from heaven.
19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on
serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing
shall by any means hurt you.
Psalm 91.1-16
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the
most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and
my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare
of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and
under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and
buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by
night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in
darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten
thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and
see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my
refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither
shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over
thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 They shall bear thee up in their hands,
lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder:
the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14 Because he hath set his love upon me,
therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath
known my name.
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer
him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew
him my salvation.
Jeremiah 30.10-11
10 Therefore fear thou not, O my servant
Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save
thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob
shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him
afraid.
11 For I am with thee, saith the LORD, to save
thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered
thee, yet I will not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in
measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.
Matthew 24.12-14
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love
of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the
same shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be
preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall
the end come.
Matthew 24.22-24
22 And except those days should be shortened,
there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall
be shortened.
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo,
here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and
false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if
it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Revelation 20.1-3
1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven,
having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old
serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and
shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations
no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he
must be loosed a little season.
Acts 10.34-35
34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a
truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
35 But in every nation he that feareth him,
and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
Romans 8.14-30
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of
God, they are the sons of God.
15 For ye have not received the spirit of
bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption,
whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our
spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God,
and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may
be also glorified together.
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this
present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be
revealed in us.
19 For the earnest expectation of the creature
waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
20 For the creature was made subject to
vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in
hope,
21 Because the creature itself also shall be
delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the
children of God.
22 For we know that the whole creation
groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
23 And not only they, but ourselves also,
which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within
ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is
seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do
we with patience wait for it.
26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our
infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the
Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be
uttered.
27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth
what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the
saints according to the will of God.
28 And we know that all things work together
for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to
his purpose.
29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did
predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the
firstborn among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he
also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he
justified, them he also glorified.
Romans 9.15-16
15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on
whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have
compassion.
16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor
of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.
Romans 10.12-16
12 For there is no difference between the Jew
and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon
him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of
the Lord shall be saved.
14 How then shall they call on him in whom
they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they
have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15 And how shall they preach, except they be
sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the
gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel.
For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
Romans 11.7-10
7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that
which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were
blinded.
8 (According as it is written, God hath given
them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that
they should not hear;) unto this day.
9 And David saith, Let their table be made a
snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:
10 Let their eyes be darkened, that they may
not see, and bow down their back alway.
1 Corinthians 8.3
3 But if any man love God, the same is known
of him.
Proverbs 8.17
17 I love them that love me; and those that
seek me early shall find me.
Galatians 3.26-29
26 For ye are all the children of God by faith
in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you as have been baptized
into Christ have put on Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is
neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all
one in Christ Jesus.
29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye
Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Galatians 4.5-7
5 To redeem them that were under the law, that
we might receive the adoption of sons.
6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth
the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a
son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
Luke 10.18
18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as
lightning fall from heaven.
Luke 11.20-23
20 But if I with the finger of God cast out
devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.
21 When a strong man armed keepeth his palace,
his goods are in peace:
22 But when a stronger than he shall come upon
him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he
trusted, and divideth his spoils.
23 He that is not with me is against me: and
he that gathereth not with me scattereth.
Matthew 12.29
29 Or else how can one enter into a strong
man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and
then he will spoil his house.
Mark 3.27-29
27 No man can enter into a strong man's house,
and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he
will spoil his house.
28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be
forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall
blaspheme:
29 But he that shall blaspheme against the
Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation.
John 12.31
31 Now is the judgment of this world: now
shall the prince of this world be cast out.

11 Of judgment, because the prince of this
world is judged.
Job 19.29
29 Be ye afraid of the sword: for wrath
bringeth the punishments of the sword, that ye may know there is a
judgment.
Job 40.19
19 He is the chief of the ways of God: he that
made him can make his sword to approach unto him.
James 2.19
19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou
doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
James 4.7-10
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist
the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to
you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double
minded.
9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your
laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord,
and he shall lift you up.
Ephesians 6.16-18
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith,
wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the
sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and
supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance
and supplication for all saints;
Revelation 20.4
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them,
and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were
beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had
not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark
upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with
Christ a thousand years.
Revelation 20.5
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again
until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
Hebrews
3.15
15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear
his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear
his voice, harden not your hearts.
2 Corinthians 6.2
2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time
accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now
is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
Luke 15.11-32
11 And he said, A certain man had two sons:
12 And the younger of them said to his father,
Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided
unto them his living.
13 And not many days after the younger son
gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there
wasted his substance with riotous living.
14 And when he had spent all, there arose a
mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.
15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen
of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.
16 And he would fain have filled his belly
with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.
17 And when he came to himself, he said, How
many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I
perish with hunger!
18 I will arise and go to my father, and will
say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,
19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son:
make me as one of thy hired servants.
20 And he arose, and came to his father. But
when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion,
and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have
sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be
called thy son.
22 But the father said to his servants, Bring
forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and
shoes on his feet:
23 And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill
it; and let us eat, and be merry:
24 For this my son was dead, and is alive
again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.
25 Now his elder son was in the field: and as
he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing.
26 And he called one of the servants, and
asked what these things meant.
27 And he said unto him, Thy brother is come;
and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him
safe and sound.
28 And he was angry, and would not go in:
therefore came his father out, and intreated him.
29 And he answering said to his father, Lo,
these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy
commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry
with my friends:
30 But as soon as this thy son was come, which
hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted
calf.
31 And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever
with me, and all that I have is thine.
32 It was meet that we should make merry, and
be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost,
and is found.
Romans 6.1-14
1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in
sin, that grace may abound?
2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to
sin, live any longer therein?
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were
baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism
into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory
of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the
likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his
resurrection:
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified
with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we
should not serve sin.
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe
that we shall also live with him:
9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the
dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once:
but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be
dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal
body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13 Neither yield ye your members as
instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as
those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of
righteousness unto God.
14 For sin shall not have dominion over you:
for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
1
Corinthians 15.21-29
21 For since by man came death, by man came
also the resurrection of the dead.
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ
shall all be made alive.
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the
firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have
delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put
down all rule and all authority and power.
25 For he must reign, till he hath put all
enemies under his feet.
26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is
death.
27 For he hath put all things under his feet.
But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is
excepted, which did put all things under him.
28 And when all things shall be subdued unto
him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all
things under him, that God may be all in all.
29 Else what shall they do which are baptized
for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for
the dead?
1 Corinthians 15.52-58
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at
the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised
incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on
incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on
incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be
brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in
victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where
is thy victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength
of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the
victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye
stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch
as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
1 Corinthians 16.1
1 Now concerning the collection for the
saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.
Romans 6.3-5
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were
baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism
into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory
of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the
likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his
resurrection:
2 Peter 1.11
11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto
you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus
Christ.
1 John 5.20
20 And we know that the Son of God is come,
and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and
we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true
God, and eternal life.
Isaiah 9.6
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son
is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name
shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting
Father, The Prince of Peace.
Revelation 11.15
15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there
were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become
the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever
and ever.
Ephesians 1.19-21
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his
power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty
power,
20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised
him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly
places,
21 Far above all principality, and power, and
might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world,
but also in that which is to come:
Ephesians 2.5-6
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath
quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us
sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
Ephesians 2.10
10 For we are his workmanship, created in
Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we
should walk in them.
Romans 5.17-18
17 For if by one man's offence death reigned
by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of
righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment
came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the
free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

LORD sitteth King for ever.

living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble,
and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.
Zechariah 14.9
9 And the LORD shall be king over all the
earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.
Revelation 1.17-18
17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as
dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am
the first and the last:
18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and,
behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of
death.
Revelation 2.8
8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna
write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is
alive;
Hebrews 9.28
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins
of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time
without sin unto salvation.
2 Thessalonians 1.5-10
5 Which is a manifest token of the righteous
judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for
which ye also suffer:
6 Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to
recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;
7 And to you who are troubled rest with us,
when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them
that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
9 Who shall be punished with everlasting
destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his
power;
10 When he shall come to be glorified in his
saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony
among you was believed) in that day.
Revelation 20.9
9 And they went up on the breadth of the
earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city:
and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
Matthew 22.7
7 But when the king heard thereof, he was
wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and
burned up their city.
1 Peter 4.17-19
17 For the time is come that judgment must
begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end
be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved,
where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to
the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as
unto a faithful Creator.
2 Thessalonians 2.11-12
11 And for this cause God shall send them
strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed
not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Romans 8.1
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to
them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after
the Spirit.
Ezekiel 36.24-38
24 For I will take you from among the heathen,
and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own
land.
25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you,
and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols,
will I cleanse you.
26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new
spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of
your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
27 And I will put my spirit within you, and
cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do
them.
28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave
to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.
29 I will also save you from all your
uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay
no famine upon you.
30 And I will multiply the fruit of the tree,
and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of
famine among the heathen.
31 Then shall ye remember your own evil ways,
and your doings that were not good, and shall lothe yourselves in your own
sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.
32 Not for your sakes do I this, saith the
Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own
ways, O house of Israel.
33 Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day that I
shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause you to
dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded.
34 And the desolate land shall be tilled,
whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by.
35 And they shall say, This land that was
desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and
ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited.
36 Then the heathen that are left round about
you shall know that I the LORD build the ruined places, and plant that
that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it.
37 Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will yet for
this be enquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will
increase them with men like a flock.
38 As the holy flock, as the flock of
Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with
flocks of men: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
Jeremiah 29.12-14
12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go
and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye
shall search for me with all your heart.
14 And I will be found of you, saith the LORD:
and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the
nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the
LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be
carried away captive.
Matthew 25.31-46
31 When the Son of man shall come in his
glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne
of his glory:
32 And before him shall be gathered all
nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd
divideth his sheep from the goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right
hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his
right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared
for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat:
I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and
ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him,
saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and
gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee
in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and
came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto
them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the
least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the
left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for
the devil and his angels:
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no
meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in:
naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44 Then shall they also answer him, saying,
Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or
sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I
say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye
did it not to me.
46 And these shall go away into everlasting
punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
Matthew 24.13-14
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the
same shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be
preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall
the end come.
Matthew 21.22
22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in
prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
2 Thessalonians 2.13-17
13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to
God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the
beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and
belief of the truth:
14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to
the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold
the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God,
even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting
consolation and good hope through grace,
17 Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in
every good word and work.
Ezekiel 20.38-40
38 And I will purge out from among you the
rebels, and them that transgress against me: I will bring them forth out
of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land
of Israel: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
39 As for you, O house of Israel, thus saith
the Lord GOD; Go ye, serve ye every one his idols, and hereafter also, if
ye will not hearken unto me: but pollute ye my holy name no more with your
gifts, and with your idols.
40 For in mine holy mountain, in the mountain
of the height of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, there shall all the house of
Israel, all of them in the land, serve me: there will I accept them, and
there will I require your offerings, and the firstfruits of your
oblations, with all your holy things.
Ezekiel 28.15-19
Jeremiah 51.58
58 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The broad
walls of Babylon shall be utterly broken, and her high gates shall be
burned with fire; and the people shall labour in vain, and the folk in the
fire, and they shall be weary.
Jeremiah 51.64
64 And thou shalt say, Thus shall Babylon
sink, and shall not rise from the evil that I will bring upon her: and
they shall be weary. Thus far are the words of Jeremiah.
Ezekiel 38.16-23
19 For in my jealousy and in the fire of my
wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in
the land of Israel;
1 Thessalonians 4.16-17
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from
heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump
of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be
caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1
Corinthians 15.51-58
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not
all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at
the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised
incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
Hebrews 9.27-28
27 And as it is appointed unto men once to
die, but after this the judgment:
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins
of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time
without sin unto salvation.
Revelation 20.6
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the
first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall
be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand
years.
Revelation 20.14-15
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake
of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the
book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Ephesians 2.1-10
1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in
trespasses and sins;
2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to
the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air,
the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation
in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the
flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as
others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great
love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath
quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us
sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the
exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ
Jesus.
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and
that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in
Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we
should walk in them.
Hebrews 6.4-6
4 For it is impossible for those who were once
enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers
of the Holy Ghost,
5 And have tasted the good word of God, and
the powers of the world to come,
6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again
unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh,
and put him to an open shame.
2 Peter 3.16
16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in
them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood,
which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the
other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
Hebrews 10.10
10 By the which will we are sanctified through
the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
Hebrews 10.1-39
1 For the law having a shadow of good things
to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those
sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers
thereunto perfect.
2 For then would they not have ceased to be
offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more
conscience of sins.
3 But in those sacrifices there is a
remembrance again made of sins every year.
4 For it is not possible that the blood of
bulls and of goats should take away sins.
5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he
saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou
prepared me:
6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin
thou hast had no pleasure.
7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of
the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering
and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst
pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O
God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
10 By the which will we are sanctified through
the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
11 And every priest standeth daily ministering
and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away
sins:
12 But this man, after he had offered one
sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies
be made his footstool.
14 For by one offering he hath perfected for
ever them that are sanctified.
15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to
us: for after that he had said before,
16 This is the covenant that I will make with
them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their
hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
17 And their sins and iniquities will I
remember no more.
18 Now where remission of these is, there is
no more offering for sin.
19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to
enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
20 By a new and living way, which he hath
consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
21 And having an high priest over the house of
God;
22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full
assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience,
and our bodies washed with pure water.
23 Let us hold fast the profession of our
faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
24 And let us consider one another to provoke
unto love and to good works:
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves
together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much
the more, as ye see the day approaching.
26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have
received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for
sins,
27 But a certain fearful looking for of
judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
28 He that despised Moses' law died without
mercy under two or three witnesses:
29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye,
shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God,
and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified,
an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance
belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord
shall judge his people.
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the
hands of the living God.
32 But call to remembrance the former days, in
which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions;
33 Partly, whilst ye were made a gazingstock
both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, whilst ye became
companions of them that were so used.
34 For ye had compassion of me in my bonds,
and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that
ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.
35 Cast not away therefore your confidence,
which hath great recompence of reward.
36 For ye have need of patience, that, after
ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
37 For yet a little while, and he that shall
come will come, and will not tarry.
38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if
any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
39 But we are not of them who draw back unto
perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
Hebrews 6.4-8
4 For it is impossible for those who were once
enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers
of the Holy Ghost,
5 And have tasted the good word of God, and
the powers of the world to come,
6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again
unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh,
and put him to an open shame.
7 For the earth which drinketh in the rain
that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it
is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:
8 But that which beareth thorns and briers is
rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.
Hebrews 4.1-7
1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being
left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of
it.
2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well
as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed
with faith in them that heard it.
3 For we which have believed do enter into
rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my
rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4 For he spake in a certain place of the
seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his
works.
5 And in this place again, If they shall enter
into my rest.
6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must
enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in
because of unbelief:
7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in
David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear
his voice, harden not your hearts.
Revelation 6.11
11 And white robes were given unto every one
of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little
season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be
killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
Matthew 25.41
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the
left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for
the devil and his angels:
Matthew 25.46
46 And these shall go away into everlasting
punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
2 Peter 3.7
7 But the heavens and the earth, which are
now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the
day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
John 3.16-18
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave
his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to
condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned:
but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not
believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
John 3.36
36 He that believeth on the Son hath
everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life;
but the wrath of God abideth on him.
John 5.29
29 And shall come forth; they that have done
good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto
the resurrection of damnation.
John 12.48-50
48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my
words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same
shall judge him in the last day.
49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the
Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and
what I should speak.
50 And I know that his commandment is life
everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto
me, so I speak.
Luke 11.31-32
31 The queen of the south shall rise up in the
judgment with the men of this generation, and condemn them: for she came
from the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and,
behold, a greater than Solomon is here.
32 The men of Nineve shall rise up in the
judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at
the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.
Psalm 41.1-2
1 Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the
LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.
2 The LORD will preserve him, and keep him
alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver
him unto the will of his enemies.
Isaiah 27.1
1 In that day the LORD with his sore and great
and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even
leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in
the sea.
Job 34.20
20 In a moment shall they die, and the people
shall be troubled at midnight, and pass away: and the mighty shall be
taken away without hand.
Job 34.25
25 Therefore he knoweth their works, and he
overturneth them in the night, so that they are destroyed.
James 4.12
12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save
and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
1 Thessalonians 5.2-3
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day
of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety;
then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with
child; and they shall not escape.
Proverbs 2.21-22
21 For the upright shall dwell in the land,
and the perfect shall remain in it.
22 But the wicked shall be cut off from the
earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it.
Ephesians 1.21
21 Far above all principality, and power, and
might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world,
but also in that which is to come:
Hebrews 13.8
8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day,
and for ever.
Hebrews 9.11-28
11 But Christ being come an high priest of
good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made
with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves,
but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having
obtained eternal redemption for us.
13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and
the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the
purifying of the flesh:
14 How much more shall the blood of Christ,
who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge
your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
15 And for this cause he is the mediator of
the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the
transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called
might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
16 For where a testament is, there must also
of necessity be the death of the testator.
17 For a testament is of force after men are
dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
18 Whereupon neither the first testament was
dedicated without blood.
19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to
all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of
goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the
book, and all the people,
20 Saying, This is the blood of the testament
which God hath enjoined unto you.
21 Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the
tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.
22 And almost all things are by the law purged
with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
23 It was therefore necessary that the
patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the
heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
24 For Christ is not entered into the holy
places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven
itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often,
as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of
others;
26 For then must he often have suffered since
the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he
appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
27 And as it is appointed unto men once to
die, but after this the judgment:
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins
of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time
without sin unto salvation.
Revelation 20.10
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast
into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet
are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Revelation 20.13-15
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in
it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they
were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake
of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the
book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Matthew 10.22
22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my
name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
Hebrews 10.26-31
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the
hands of the living God
