Biblical Points: 4For
Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that
believeth. 8Heal
the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye
have received, freely give. 17And
the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come.
And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the
water of life freely. 10Nor
scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves:
for the workman is worthy of his meat. 7For
yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves
disorderly among you; 8Neither
did we eat any man's bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail
night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you: 9Not
because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to
follow us. 10For
even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not
work, neither should he eat. 18And
Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the
priest of the most high God. 19And
he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor
of heaven and earth: 20And
blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy
hand. And he gave him tithes of all. 17And
this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ,
the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul,
that it should make the promise of none effect. 18For
if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave
it to Abraham by promise. 22But
the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of
Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. 11But
if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he
that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies
by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. 12Therefore,
brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13For
if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do
mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14For
as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15For
ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have
received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16The
Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of
God: 17And
if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so
be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. 5To
redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of
sons. 6And
because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your
hearts, crying, Abba, Father. 7Wherefore
thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God
through Christ. 6Being
confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you
will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: 23To
the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in
heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made
perfect, 23And
the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I
pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless
unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 25But
after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. 26For
ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27For
as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28There
is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither
male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29And
if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the
promise. 8And
the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through
faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all
nations be blessed. 4According
as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we
should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5Having
predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself,
according to the good pleasure of his will, 11In
whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according
to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own
will: 12That
we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. 13In
whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of
your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with
that holy Spirit of promise, 14Which
is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased
possession, unto the praise of his glory. 15Wherefore
I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all
the saints, 16Cease
not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; 17That
the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you
the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18The
eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the
hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance
in the saints, 19And
what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe,
according to the working of his mighty power, 20Which
he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his
own right hand in the heavenly places, 21Far
above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name
that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22And
hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all
things to the church, 4But
God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5Even
when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by
grace ye are saved;) 6And
hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in
Christ Jesus: 1There
is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who
walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2For
the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the
law of sin and death. 3For
what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God
sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin,
condemned sin in the flesh: 4That
the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after
the flesh, but after the Spirit. 10And
if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is
life because of righteousness. 11But
if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he
that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies
by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
9And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham. 10For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him. 11If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? 12For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law. 4Behold,
his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live
by his faith. 17For
therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is
written, The just shall live by faith. 11But
that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident:
for, The just shall live by faith. 38Now
the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have
no pleasure in him. 26Cursed
be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all
the people shall say, Amen. 10For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. 11But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. 12And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. 13Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 13Christ
hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for
it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 5Ye
shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he
shall live in them: I am the LORD. 6For
I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. 7Even
from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and
have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the
LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return? 8Will
a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed
thee? In tithes and offerings. 9Ye
are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. 16Knowing
that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of
Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be
justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by
the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. 17But
if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found
sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid. 18For
if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a
transgressor. 19For
I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God. 20I
am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ
liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the
faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. 21I
do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law,
then Christ is dead in vain. 6For
I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. 7Even
from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and
have not kept them.
10Bring
ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine
house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not
open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there
shall not be room enough to receive it. 10For
whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is
guilty of all. 11For
he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou
commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of
the law. 5For
this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens
were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 33As
it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence:
and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 3For
they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish
their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the
righteousness of God. 19For
the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by
the which we draw nigh unto God. 1For
the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of
the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by
year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. 16The
law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God
is preached, and every man presseth into it.
16Knowing
that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of
Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be
justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by
the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
4Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. 18For
there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the
weakness and unprofitableness thereof. 18Forasmuch
as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver
and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your
fathers; 19But
with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and
without spot: 20Who
verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was
manifest in these last times for you,
